I know that running a race is a potentially hazardous activity.  I therefore warrant that I will not enter and run this event unless I am medically able and properly trained.  I also know that there will be a possibility of traffic on the course and I assume the risk of running in traffic.  I also assume any and all other risks associated with running this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other persons, the effects of weather including heat and/or humidity and other conditions of the race.  All such risks being known and appreciated by me.  To the fullest extent permitted by law, I shall release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless all event organizers, directors, sponsors, and volunteers, local police, state police and all municipalities, including their agents, employees, assigns or anyone acting on and for their behalf, from and against, and assume responsibility for, any and all claims or liability for death, personal injury or property damage of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of, in connection with, or in relation to my participating in this event, regardless of whether or not such claims or liability arise out of or relate to the negligence (whether active, passive, or otherwise) of, or was caused in part by event organizers, directors, sponsors, and volunteers, local and state police, and all municipalities including their agents, employees, assigns, or anyone acting for on in their behalf, involved in the event.  I further grant permission to all of the forgoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of the event for any purpose.
